Adelaide Park is in the hinterland of the Capricorn Coast. Its boundary runs along Limestone Creek to the west, and to the north by a line of hills approx. 200 meters above sea level. Another line of hills runs from the north-west to the south east, about 130m to 340m at Mount Barmoya.
Named after the Adelaide Park pastoral station established by James and Mary Atherton, who purchased the land in 1868. The Atherton family established the first road to Rockhampton, and later extended it to Yeppoon.
Adelaide Park now offers a mixture of quality established homes and lifestyle properties, progressing to larger properties as you head out of town. Very convenient to Yeppoon and schools, as such is very popular for families.
