SELF-MANAGED SUPER FUND PROPERTY INVESTMENT WORKSHOP A BIG HIT

There was a full house for the Self-Managed Super Fund Property Investment Workshop held on Tuesday the 15th of August by the team @ Real Estate in James Street Yeppoon.  Those that attended were pleased to hear from top local experts including Shane Nipperess from Centrepoint Finance, Tim Rivett from Robert Harris Rivett Lawyers and Mark Swaffield from Shanahan Swaffield Partners.  The speakers where obviously all passionate about Self-Managed Super, providing useful information from professionals that practice what they preach.  They presented in a relaxed style that made sellout crowd, feel at ease to ask questions and get involved.  Its hard to imagine that with such a serious and seemingly complicated topic they even managed to have the crowd laughing along with them and made everything easy to understand.

The major take home advice from the evening was to always seek professional advice, before making financial decisions.  Everyone is different and requires a solution to suit their situation.  It was also great to see local businesses working together to host a top quality event free of charge for the local community.  The night was such a hit that guests have been asking if there will be a follow on event.  The organisers enjoyed the event so much they will consider holding similar events in the future
