$250 MILLION NORTH QUEENSLAND STADIUM FOR NORTH QUEENSLAND
North Queensland businesses are being urged to register ASAP for the first on-the-ground work on the $250 million North Queensland Stadium.
State Development Minister Anthony Lynham said subcontractors and suppliers are required to register again to be eligible for the 27 early works projects released last Friday by Watpac, the managing contractor for the North Queensland Stadium.
The $250 million North Queensland Stadium is a major economic stimulus and job creator for North Queensland and Townsville in particular. It is also a much-needed upgrade from Townsville’s existing 1300 Smiles Stadiums.
